The Shaloh House Jewish Day School welcomes applications for children between first and sixth grade. Please contact Elana Markov, Admissions Coordinator, with any questions.

Schedule a Visit

Families interested in Shaloh House must first schedule a visit by contacting our Admissions Coordinator, Elana Markov, at (617) 787-2200 or by emailing [email protected] For those children entering grades 1-6, a one to three day visit is arranged as part of the admission process. Each applicant will participate in classes that are at his/her current grade level. This enables our teachers to assess the student's strengths relative to the level of his or her peers. It also gives your child the opportunity to meet future classmates and experience life at the Shaloh House.

Application

To be considered for admission to our Elementary program, we ask you to visit our online porta l and create an account. Once your account has been created, please submit the following:

  • Completed Admissions Application per child
  • Records Release Request
  • $50 Application Fee per child (non-refundable and non-transferable)
  • Program Selection/Financial Information Form
  • Title III Eligibility Survey
  • Shaloh House Scholarship Form (for those requesting tuition assistance)

In order for your child’s application to be complete, we will need to receive records from your child’s previous school. If accepted, we will notify you if we require additional placement testing for your child.

Enrollment Timeline:

Enrollment is open year round for the 2021-2022 school year; however, we encourage you to begin the admissions process as early as possible for the following year. Admissions and financial aid decisions are released on a rolling basis.
